There are some simple realities we must consider.

Anyone can build virtual worlds, so the real estate market is no longer the best source of income, although land with high quality content is highly marketable since it can be archived and sold over and over. Most of you are talented content creators, So this could be a lucrative market for you to exploit.

The more visitors and resident in our world; the more opportunities there are for us to gain customers, and clients for our products and services. I plan to earn money by teaching computer science in Virtual Worlds College and I hope that will provide enough extra income to improve the hardware and network. To do that, I will need to attract students. That means marketing. Think about your goals, and look for ways we can bring in more visitors to help meet your needs.

The software we are using, Open Sim, is amazing, but generic. there are a lot of ways its functions can be extended, and modified to make it more useful and attractive. Right now almost all the worlds are using the same basic configuration. We need to stand out. We need to make our world unique and desirable. I have a lot of ideas I am working on, like voice recognition, and better building tools, but it is your ideas that need to be explored. Let me know what would make our world the best.
